'Celtic Knots' Etching Stencil

'Celtic Knots' Etching Stencil made exclusively for Wheel of Fate by Katrin Blackwater.

This flexible mylar stencil was designed by artist Katrin Blackwater specially to fit the covers of our small bookbinding kits. It measures 14.7 x 10.5 cm.

We consider this stencil to be 'advanced' difficulty, meaning it may take longer to complete the design.

Tips for use:

• This is designed for etching with a sharp awl onto waxy pull-up leather, but it can also be used on paper with a pen or marker.
• Use the design as-is, or pull elements out and place where you like!
• Mark out the corners of the design before you get started. That way, you will be able to find the placement again if you slip or take a break.
• Use the swirly border on the spine or back of your book.
• We recommend etching after you've completed your journal. However, if you want to etch first, don't forget to consider how much room the pages will take up when choosing your placement.
