From Nana Kat's Apothecary, this 100ml bottle of plant magick is a gentle and natural way to balance, tone and soothe skin, refresh and clean pores, and support hydration and moister retention. This facial toner is suitable for all skin types and is packed with plant hydrosols and extracts. The Kelpie is lightly scented by the Organic Peppermint Hydrosol and Pink Grapefruit Essential Oils, providing a refreshing, clean and cool scent.
Named for the legends of the Kelpie, a Scottish mythological creature which is portrayed as a shape-shifting water spirit. It takes the form of a magnificent black, white or grey horse or sometimes a handsome young man. The Kelpie is found near lochs and streams and is particularly fond of enticing and luring passers-by into a watery grave.
Nana Kat's Apothecary toners are made with steam-distilled botanical organic Hydrolsols rather than alcohol and water. These do not use alcohols (Isopropyl alcohol and Ethanols) as they can dry out and irritate skin. Hydrosols aid cleansing, are soothing and have anti-inflammatory properties. These toners are sulfate-free, paraben-free, alcohol-free, and synthetic fragrance-free.
All ingredients used are natural, Vegan and sustainably sourced. Nana Kat's Apothecary hand crafts all their products in small batches on the East Coast of Scotland, inspired by plant magick and folk herbalism.
