Spooky Storytelling Open Mic

Come join a night of spooky storytelling, hosted by storyteller Frankie Regalia. Frankie will open the event with a few folktales and ghost stories before inviting anyone who has a story of their own to share. In the style of traditional storytelling, we welcome participants to recite spooky stories, poems, or songs from memory. It’s not about being word-perfect, but about creating an ambience and taking the audience on a journey. Some examples of things you might share include your favourite ghost story, a recounting of an unexplained occurrence, some spooky folklore, or all the details of the haunted house in your hometown.

Please keep stories to no longer than 10 minutes. You are also welcome to come and listen without the need to share. This is a BYOB event and, as such, it is strictly an 18+ event. We will get started at 18:30 and go until about 20:30, with a ten minute comfort break in the middle. The shop will be closed to the public during the event, but you are welcome to purchase items before the performances, during the break, or at the end.
