Sídhe - Body Oil

From Nana Kat's Apothecary, this 100ml bottle of plant magick is a natural nourishing way to moisturise skin with botanical oils chosen for their ability to help restore skin, protect it's integrity, reduce inflammation and promote softness. This oil can bus used as an after Shower Body Oil, Bath Oil and Massage Oil.

Named for a Scots word Sídhe (pronounced sh-ee) does have different meanings but the most common one is the collective name for the Fairy Folk or the Celtic ‘Otherworld’. The Otherworld is where the fairy folk reside and where there is eternal youth and never-ending joy. The word can also be found attached to mounds (little hills within the landscapes) as these are traditionally seen as the entrances to the Otherworld and if one was lucky enough, one could find an open door on certain days of the year. Body Oil and it’s scent of Bergamot and Neroli is intended to invokes never-ending joy within you, or at least a comforting fuzzy feeling of contentedness.

The Sídhe is pale yellow in colour, absorbs quickly and is scented with Bergamot and Neroli Blossom Essential Oils, providing a divinely subtle citrus and light floral scent.

All ingredients used are natural, Vegan and sustainably sourced. Nana Kat's Apothecary hand crafts all their products in small batches on the East Coast of Scotland, inspired by plant magick and folk herbalism.
