This pendant is made by melting recycled bits of silver, allowing the metal to flow and follow the heat. The design takes form organically and each pendant is entirely unique. In this piece I then bezel set green sea glass that I found along the Scottish coastline.
Dust Designs jewellery is inspired by nature and especially the ocean. Dust Designs is Charl Gordon, who works with recycled silver and incorporates found objects from along the coast, such as sea glass and ceramics, which she then cuts into different designs. Other pieces are wax-cast them into recycled silver to show fossils, shells and wave patterns. Each piece by Dust Designs contains a little piece of the natural world within!
