Pennsylvania Dutch Hex Signs are a form of Fraktur folk art, often found on barns and houses in the PA countryside. They are meant to bring luck, good fortune, health, and a good harvest to the homes on which they are placed. Many see them as a form of sacred geometry - with each star point linking to cosmic harmony, balance, and even to the zodiac signs. Historically, they have also been linked to rumours of being used to repel against witches entering your home or hexing your crops.
