Creatures of the Highlands, Vol. 1  is a zine by Eva Fernandes.

This 20-page full-colour zine depicts interpretations of Scottish folklore creatures. With a great emphasis on nature, Fernandes researched region-specific fauna and flora to help inspire these creatures. 

Edinburgh-based illustrator Eva Fernandes enjoys creating new worlds and exciting stories through the narrative nature of her work, whether that be through comics or character designs. She works both analogue and digitally, taking inspiration from folklore and other forms of fiction.
