LEATHER ETCHING
Try your hand at etching leather goods! Decorate your own tarot pouch, leather wallet, mini book, bookmark, or keychain, all of which were made here instore by our talented craftspeople. You can use a stencil or your imagination to freehand etch a design using an awl or etching pen.
What's included:
- You may choose from the following blank leather pieces handmade in-store:
- One standard or pocket sized tarot pouch, OR
- One medium item (mini book, wallet) AND one small item (bookmark, keychain)
- An etching pen to use on the day
- A range of stencils, some of which are commissioned from local artists especially for Wheel of Fate
- Your choice of charm to finish the piece off
What's not included:
- There are no workshop instructors for Craft Witch. This is a self-guided, do-it-yourself crafting session, with a craftsperson on-hand in case you get stuck!

Once you arrive at your designated start-time, you can hand-select your materials and get started right away. Staff will be available to answer any questions you have and to show you around our crafting space.
What to bring
Please do not bring your own crafting materials and supplies. You can always add your own items once you get home.
Age policy
All crafts at Wheel of Fate are designed for adults. However, Leather Etching may be suitable for crafters ages 13+ with adult accompaniment and supervision. For every child ages 8-12, there must be one responsible adult booked in. For every two children aged 13-17, there must be one responsible adult booked in. Children must remain accompanied by a parent/guardian for the duration of the crafting time. Parents, you will be responsible for helping your child craft and stay safe, so please do not drop off your children and leave.
Adults assisting young crafters must book and pay for their own seat but are not required to choose a craft. Unfortunately, children aged 7 and under are not permitted in Craft Witch. We do not have space for buggies/strollers.
Health & Safety
Wheel of Fate workshops/products and the Craft Witch studio crafts utilise materials that may aggravate allergies: dried florals, broomcorn (gluten free grain, aka sorghum), rubber bands (latex), twine (paraffin wax), beeswax, etc. If you or anyone in your group has a certain allergy, please alert management ASAP at info@wheeloffate.co.uk.
Wheel of Fate and Craft Witch are located up 5 steps. Once inside, the floors are level and the bathroom (available to customers only) is a generous size. Please contact management for dimensions of doorways into the building, spaces, and bathrooms.
We do not allow dogs (except service dogs) for their safety and for the safety and comfort of all our customers.
Price breakdown
The price of a Leather Etching session at Craft Witch is £39. This includes a £12 Seat in the Studio, plus £27 for prepared materials and instructor assistance. This price includes VAT and all fees charged by our booking platform, Fareharbor.
Additional time may be added to your booking at £3 per 15 minutes per person. There is no extra materials fee for additional time. Additional time is subject to availability, and can only be added if there is no booking directly after yours.
If someone in your party wants to join but not craft, they may choose the "no craft" option at checkout and will therefore will not be charged for materials.
