'Coot in Inky Waters' A5 print by Tulips & Heather

An A5 print on 250gsm matte texture paper of a fairytale like illustration of a coot walking in dark water, surrounded by wetland plants, water mint, vetch, reeds and grasses. A mayfly flies above and a snail and caddies fly rest on the vegetation.  The colours of the illustrations are greens, blues and purples.

"Tulips and Heather brings together the illustrative work of Maya Chessman and Freya Elise Kemp. They are inspired by folklore, queerness and the magic of nature and create prints, stationery, greetings cards, garlands, badges and more! They’ve been making things together since 2021 & share a love of hand-made craft & arts, blending together Maya's detailed pencil drawing with Freya’s intricate paper cut designs. The majority of our work is paper goods, printed on recycled and eco-conscious papers, all of our products are produced in the UK and everything is packaged in glassine bags, which can be recycled or compostable cellophane, made of vegetable starch."
