‘The Lovers’ Print by Katrin Blackwater

This print features a detailed black and white illustration of three naked figures in an intimate embrace. One of the figures has a snake tattoo on their leg, while two of the figures are tied in shibari rope and the other is wearing a set of angel wings. A sun or moon shines light down from above them and there are white clouds in the sky.

The piece is called 'The Lovers' and is a larger print of the The Lovers card from Katrin Blackwaters illustrated tarot deck.   

Katrin Blackwater is an Edinburgh based artist creating illustrations inspired by Scottish folklore, nature, witchcraft and the celtic neo-pagan seasonal festivals.
