Ouroboros embroidery kit by Pixels and Purls - The highly detailed embroidery design with a modern floral twist inspired by the Ouroboros (or Uroboros), the ancient symbol depicting a snake eating its own tail. The Ouroboros entered Western tradition via ancient Egyptian iconography and the Greek traditions, later finding itself a core part of Norse mythology. It expresses the unity of all things, material and spiritual, which never disappear but perpetually change form in an eternal cycle of destruction and re-creation.
Featuring 6 different stitching techniques and 7 colours this kit is a great way to learn hand embroidery or brush up on your skills - while detailed it is simpler to stitch than it looks! A brilliant mindful make with lots of soothing repetition to get int the zone with.
