"The Highland Witch" Print by Yachen Zhou

This is an A5 riso graph print by artist Yachen Zhou. 

Edition one features a witch and little mammalian familiars. Edition two also includes bright pink thistle flowers.

Yachen Zhou is an illustrator and printmaker. She has learned a lot from traditional print techniques and enjoys the process of making and drawing. She is a storyteller who explores personal visual language and aims to make zines and picture books. She gets inspiration from observations of daily life and imagination. She hopes her poetic works could wake innocence inside children and adults. Yachen graduated with an illustration masters degree from Edinburgh College of Art in 2023.
