These circular wall plaques by artist Ciara Veronica Dunne feature the cross of the Goddess Bríd/Brigid in the form of four clasping arms. The cross sits against a green field of staring eyes. 

This plaque measures 12.3cm across, 1cm thick, and weighs 140g. The hole in the plaque is 7.5mm. Dunne has made two versions of this plaque: one with yellow arms and one with green outlined arms. The eyes also vary between plaques. Please see photos.

Ciara Veronica Dunne is a visual artist from Ireland who has been living in Edinburgh since 2011. She makes functional and ceremonial handmade Art objects. Her illustrated ceramic style is informed by Magic Realism, cultural syncretism, Surrealism and folklore as anthropology.
