Community event: Join us at Wheel of Fate on Thursday the 24th of October at 7PM for a jack-o-lantern carving social! The event is free but ticketed.
Have you ever heard the tale of Stingy Jack the sinner? In Irish folklore he tricked the Devil up an apple tree, and in return was barred from both Heaven and Hell, cursed to roam the earth on All Hallow's Eve with nothing but a turnip for a lantern to light his way.
Whether you want to carve a pumpkin or a traditional turnip is up to you! This event is BYOB (bring your own booze) and BYOP (bring your own pumpkin, turnip, or your choice of carve-able veg), but we will have pumpkins available for £3. We will provide carving tools including knives and lino carvers, and so we ask that you please not drink before you arrive for health and safety's sake! We reserve the right to turn anyone away if we suspect they have been drinking ahead of time.
If you want to go the turnip route, we recommend that you hollow it out before arriving, as this can be the most time consuming bit!
This event will be held at Wheel of Fate, 63 Causewayside, Edinburgh, EH9 1QF. If you need to cancel please let us know so we can pass your ticket on to someone else!
As this event involved knives and booze, it is exclusively for ages 18+.

Cancellations for a workshop or reading communicated via email or phone more than 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of a workshop or reading are not eligible for a refund.
Absences and late arrivals for a workshop or reading are not eligible for a refund, and will be considered cancellations subject to the cancellation and refund policies.
